Care Management

We understand children in the child welfare system have special or complex physical health, behavioral health, and psychosocial needs. Show Me Healthy Kids health plan offers care management services to help with these needs. If your child has special needs or a disability, a case manager may be able to help. Our care managers are registered nurses or social workers. They can help you understand your child’s complex health needs and help coordinate care with your child’s doctors.
