An annual physical is preventative healthcare. Preventive healthcare means visiting a Primary Care Provider (PCP) and the dentist regularly, rather than waiting until you are sick. You may look and feel well but still have a health problem. Your PCP wants you to go to regular checkups, not just when you are sick.

An annual physical helps find and treat health problems early.
